8/9's Team Changes_____________________________

Teams have now been adjusted into 4 sides. Please check the revised team list under TEAMS on the banner line to see what team your child is now in. Contact the coach to advise that you are aware of the change. Check the revised draw to see where you are playing this week. If you have changed coaches check when training is. If the day is not suitable then train on which day suits you with another 8/9's team. The main change is when you play on Saturday. The aim is less reserves, more game time, more fun.

VOLUNTEERS - FIELD LINE MARKING _______________

Do you have time, maybe retired, RDO, shift worker or FIFO, on a Thursday or Friday, to occasionally assist with marking the field lines. Easy to do, all instruction provided. Just involves remarking over existing lines. You can either do some fields or all. Usually can be done in and hour or so. Is a very pleasant walk on a nice day and can help by taking pressure of the limited workers we have at present. Contact Mark (0437766577) to discuss.

CHECK DRAW ON WEBSITE EVERY WEEK______________

Don't forget to check the draw every week in case fields are changed at last minute due to wet weather or unforeseen events. Especially check if you are playing away, can save a long trip.

OVERDUE FEES NO PAY - NO PLAY _______________

A limited number of players have not yet paid their Registration Fees. These fees are OVERDUE and are to be paid PRIOR to playing. Northern Region Football stipulates that a NO PAY-NO PLAY rule applies for the start of the season due to Insurance & Registration issues.Please kindly pay your account NOW at the BCU Credit Union, using your email reciept & players name as the payment verification code.

_UPCOMING JUNIOR GALA DAYS ____________

Each year various clubs, both inside and outside the Clarence area, run Gala Days at their club grounds. The players have great fun, play a number of games against other teams and enjoy the team spirit. For parents, it's a great social day with a chance to get to know the parents of the other team members and build a good team and club spirit. If interested contact your Coach. Application Forms can be supplied by your Committee.

___________________ ABOUT OUR CLUB __________________

The Yamba Football Club was established in 1985 and has grown from humble beginnings to a strong club with 230 registered players in 2010.

Yamba F.C has three senior teams competing in the North Coast Football (NCF) 2nd and 3rd division competitions as well as six junior teams competing in the U/12's to U/17's age divisions. Yamba F.C also has 40 children taking part in the "Small Sided Football" program, in the Under 6's to 11's.

Yamba F.C is run by a small but hardworking committee and the goal of the club is to promote sportsmanship, fun and friendship through healthy activity.
